Follow Friday: Question of the Week: How do you decide what books to read?

Question of the Week: How do you decide what books to read? - Suggested by

So Many Books, So Little Time

I have a list -- you can see that on the upper right corner of my blog, that's according to the date I got the review requests. Then also depending on my mood, if I'm tired or lazy -- usually this is after a hectic week, I'd go for a nice and slow read. Amish or romantic books would be best for that mood. Sometimes, Reader's Digest... I love feel good stories from there. If I'm feeling energetic, not working on deadlines, I read crime, horror, mystery and the like. The kind of books that would make me solve something. Got a lot of these books which I bought years ago from a huge book sale.

How about you? Happy Friday!!

I used to make a list. But I don't get to follow them so I stopped. Haha!

I don't really have a list going myself. It's more whimsy or based on what I need to review that i received from the publisher!

Here's my Follow Friday

Ah, THE LIST. Tried that, too. Now, I usually reserve it for ARCs and review requests.

Thanks for following and following back via GFC.

I had lists and schedule for last year this one I'm lazy and I writing myself, so I read just authors I've already read before.

It's interesting that you read Amish books! I live in Amish country in southern middle Tennessee and have a friend of a friend who is a former member of the Amish and has written two books about his experience! :) New Twitter follower! :)

I use a list too that I have in a spreadsheet, and then I mood read quite a book. I spend so much time on Goodreads, I'm always finding new books there as well. New GFC follower!
