A. I keep them because I love to collect books. I wish to have a bookcase full of books.
Makes me happy to see them all in my living room.
Sometimes I sell books to buy new books.

I have no room but I do keep my favorites. I move often so it is hard to keep a lot of them. I started buying on kindle so that saves room.

I keep mine too! I hope to have my own room one day to make into a library! Granted in my bedroom I have 3 bookcases all filled, a shelf in the closet filled. I still need more room!

I sell books to the used book store so I can get a little cash to buy other books too! It works out great for everyone that way.

I'm a book hoarder myself. The only time I ever give a book away is when I don't like it. I don't like to swap or lend books, either.
I think most of us book bloggers are also book hoarders. We get very attached to our books, don't we? They are such wonderful objects...sigh...I LOVE them!!!!
