“What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?”
Of course it's Bloodlines by Richelle Mead!!! I miss Rose and Dimitri.... and oh my... I miss Adrian too!!! Wish I could have it now!!!

Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

Not a book but books. The Lord of the Rings (JRR Tolkien) and the Vampire Academy series (Richelle Mead). Those books make me smile every time I see them in my book case. Those are my two favorite series. I even named my son and daughter after the LOTR's characters. Another one is the Anita Blake books. Whenever I'm in the car, I've never failed to wear seat belt because of Anita. The author, Ms. Hamilton's mom died in a car accident so she used Anita as fictional equivalent of her mom's death.

Vampire Academy!!! I remember starting them last summer and just breezing through them all because they were so awesome! I was so sad when it ended, but now I can't wait for Bloodlines!!! Great pick :)

I love LOTR too. I first read The Hobbit and LOTR when I was 12 and have been rereading them regularly since. I have a funny habit of always reading The Hobbit over Christmas Holidays. Christmas eve doesn't feel right to me without Bilbo.

I haven't read the Vampire Academy or Anita Blake books yet, although I've heard plenty of good things about them. Maybe I should pick it up someday ...

Following you back from the Hop!

I have a lot of series affecting me in different ways too, but the main one was Harry Potter. I grew up with it and it made me really read. He also helped me through some rougher times. Then I have other ones that influenced my reading habits into what they are today. :)

Have a wonderful weekend! I'm a new follower! My answer can be found here!

I haven't read the Vampire Academy books yet (but only becaue my mom took them from me as soon as I bought them and I haven't gotten them back yet). I'm going to be reading Mead's newest book Bloodlines soon and hope that I can follow along with my limited knowledge of the VA series!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me at Hands and Home. I look forward to reading more from you soon!
