Merging the Physical World With the Spiritual World
In our fast moving daily pressure cooking living where many of us today are occupied with trying just to maintain our heads above water, we have little time to reflect on the supernatural spirit world lying outside our own earthly physical world.
If we did have the time to think about the spiritual world, we might ask, “Who lives in this spiritual world?” As a prerequisite to answering this question, we would have to surrender our rational human brain (very hard) for we must cross over and turn to faith rather than objectivity and reason. If you can’t do this and in turn trust in God, then you probably won’t be able to believe that angels and souls occupy the spirit world along with God. However if you are open enough to be a believer, then you will have transcended this earthly world and believe that God is the Creator of both worlds.
A biblical commentator once wrote, “Even the most objective people have blind spots where their own interests and opinions are concerned.” We are all guilty of our own biases despite how open we feel we are. I (Jerry) became a believer when I experienced Divine miracles at the end of 1998 which I wrote about in my memoir, Divinely Inspired: Spiritual Awakening of a Soul. My wife and soul mate Marcia was a believer when her mother told her about the Creator when she was a little girl, age four. Both of us have very logical minds but we have activated our Divine souls and combined our unshakable faith with our intelligence.
Marcia died on March 18, 2011 and while we were together for almost thirty years, she always told me that, “Life is a gift” and that we should enjoy our time on earth in our physical world. Many spiritualists and religious people will tell you differently — that you need to spiritualize our material world. Marcia and I (more recently) feel that you should enjoy, as best as you can, the gift of our world without trying to change it. There is a saying that I love, “Hang onto Heaven but keep both feet on the ground.” It means, bring God into your life but live your life and dreams in the present physical world.
What is the advantage of bringing the spiritual world into your life? A biblical commentator touched on one benefit and put it rather succinctly. “God offers His fragrance to all but His wine is reserved for those who believe in Him and wish to be guided by Him.” God offers everyone, even those who don’t believe in Him, the gift of life. Those who believe in Him will experience His blessings if they are true of heart. Marcia and I bring an understanding of God and reincarnation in our new nonfiction book, Putting God Into Einstein’s Equations: Energy of the Soul, to be released on Amazon in May. The book is unusual and provocative, as I write from this physical world and Marcia coauthors as her soul living without her body in the spirit world.
About the Authors:
Marcia Pollock is a graduate of Stony Brook University on Long island with a major in Psychology. She holds a masters degree in Special Education Teaching from C.W. Post University. This is her first book. She died on March 18, 2011 and coauthored this book from the spirit world. Jerry Pollock is the author of four books: Divinely Inspired, Messiah Interviews, Gog and Magog: The Devil’s Descendants and the newly-released memoir of soul mate Marcia, The Wing of the Butterfly: Memories of Marcia.
Because Jerry holds a bachelors and masters degree in Pharmacy from the University of Toronto, a doctorate degree in Biophysics from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, postdoctoral training in Microbiology from NYU Medical Center, and his professorship in Oral Biology and Pathology from Stony Brook University, Jerry infuses his spiritual writings with his knowledge of science.
