The Ghost of Christmas Past is my first Christmas read and certainly gave me lovely feeling about the holidays. This is a light, quick and enjoyable read which will make readers' Christmas extra special!

My thoughts:

The book is a compilation of eight short stories. Loved them especially SPIKES and DATE MISTAKE. It would be better if the author turn those two into full length novel. Husband read' them and thought all had weird/dark endings and then I reminded him of the title and then he was like 'OH!'. LOL. 

If you are into short stories with dark-ish endings... pick up this book!

My thoughts:

Revenge of the Castle Cats starts with Alice being poisoned by the monster she fought in the last book, Happily Never After. Now, we get to know more about Br'er Rabbit, his story and some more stories about the rise and fall of old heroes. The story now focuses on Grayle Corporation's booming business owned by the "Corrupted" dwarfs. As for the plot of the story, I think this is the best among the three short stories as there is enough twist that would make you look forward to finishing the book in one sitting.

Alice's character is developing into a nice and lovable character. I don't know, I can't think of anything special to say about her character but I'm really getting attached to her and even Alice's family and friends. The authors also included stories of secondary characters so Revenge of the Castle Cats is not only about the Grimm tales and characters but also about "real" people in Alice's "real life." By the way, I found out about the Grimm TV Series from a friend and I'm really excited to watch the series because of this. Cool stories!

The third in the Grimm Chronicles, The Revenge of the Castle Cats is an enjoyable read like the other two, Prince Charming Must Die and Happily Never After. Mommies, if you are looking for something to buy for your kids, you might want to pick-up The Grimm Chronicles Books 1-3.

My thoughts:

Virtual Pulp is a collection of 5 short stories: The Bloodstained Defile, Barbarian Nation, Radical Times, Thus Spake the Bard, and Fever Dream Nemesis.

I enjoyed this book, though only liked the first and the third short stories. The first story is about the 3 warriors from different races, united by their will to survive the war from an evil sorcerer. The third one is about the love story of a white man and black woman set in the time where union of white and colored people is not allowed.

This is recommended to all readers who like to read short stories and into historical-action-adventure.

My thoughts: 

Harvest Moon is a paranormal fantasy with romance short story about Dancing Cat who was cursed by her tribe and was treated less than human for two years. She wanted to end her life but something unexpected happened. 

I liked the plot, it was so original. The twist in the story made me smile. The start of the book was slow maybe because of the tribe names which were confusing at first. Im glad i continued reading it. Every page will surely surprise the readers. It was a well-written short story and I finished reading this wanting more!

My thoughts: 

Do you believe in reincarnation? If so, you will enjoy this book. According to the author, some of us have been here multiple times while others are new at it. He claims he was an old soul and that he's the reincarnation of someone famous. 

I don't believe in reincarnation, that some of us are born again in another body after we have died but I must admit that this theory has long piqued my interest. If you believe in reincarnation, you might want to buy this book and that was just the introduction of this book.

Raven Wings and 13 more Twisted Tales is a collection of 14 twisted short stories. Most of the short stories are entertaining, especially the story about the spiders and the two famous basketball players. The stories are well-written and certainly worth reading. 

About the author

Survived a near death experience when diagnosed with multiple sclerosis over 13 years ago. Battled back from bed ridden to wheelchair to walker to cane. Published and recorded poet, I now have a collection of short stories available with must read introduction
